Ozone is a very unstable gas, at room temperature it decomposes into oxygen within a few minutes, and at +40°C almost instantly, so for effective use it is synthesized on site.
The maximum permissible concentration(MPC) of ozone in the air is 0.1 mg/m3 (0.050ppm), although the human nose feels concentrations 20 times lower than the MPC, in addition, ozone unlike chlorine does not depress receptors, i.e. excessive inhaling at low concentrations, such as chlorine is impossible. If the concentrations in the air exceed the MPC, it is quite difficult to enter such a room because of the sharp unpleasant odor. It should also be said that for the whole history of ozone application there was not a single case of fatal poisoning.
1. During disinfection (ozonization), no animals, plants, or people are allowed in the room. Entry into the room during ozonization is strictly prohibited!
2. When ozonization begins, the customer and the service provider must leave the room, and the customer must close the door in the presence of the service provider. Entry into the room after disinfection (ozonization) without a representative of the supplier is strictly prohibited!
3. During the procedure, all windows and doors in the room must be tightly closed, electrical appliances must be turned off, and all types of ventilation systems in the room must be turned off or closed. If it is not possible to turn them off, they can be sealed with plastic wrap or tape.
4. For best results, open the doors of cabinets and dressers, and move them away from the walls.
5. Any items requiring ozone treatment (clothing, towels, etc.) may be brought into the room.
6. You may enter the room no sooner than one hour after the ozonator has finished operating.
7. Once the disinfection process is complete, the customer and the service provider open the doors together and enter the room where the procedure was performed.
8. A strong ozone odor will remain in the room for 2–3 days after ozonation. The decomposing ozone after treatment does not exceed the maximum permissible concentration and is completely harmless.
Depending on the service, the ozonation process lasts from 1.5 to 13 hours.
The provider is not responsible for the health of people, animals and plants therein at the time of ozonation.
This service is performed to kill mold, bacteria, odors, mercury vapor, various insects and rodents in the room or vehicle.
